Is it Embarrassing to Use the Net in Class?

Unfortunately YES.At times using the net can be a bit embarrassing due to unsuitable content of some websites. There many interesting and very useful sites that can be used in class to maximize learning. However, these very interesting sites contain annoying ads, at times with offensive images.

As such, teachers should take the necessary precautions prior to using some sites. One way to get rid out the annoying ads and, hence have some sort of control of the page content you intend to view is using some blockers.

www.adout.org does this job quite well but it is blocked. So, using Mozila Firefox as a browser together with adblockplus can serve

How to block annoying ads and images on a site:

First open Mozila Firefox, go to Tools, select ads-on, type in adblockplus, install it and restart your browser.
